Dolph Ward Goldenburg serves as the firm's principal consultant and is recognized as a high performance leader in the nonprofit sector. As a successful CEO for 11 years, Dolph Ward Goldenburg has a demonstrated history of leading nonprofit organizations to financial stability and growth. Goldenburg's speciality with the firm includes board development, strategic planning, and interim executive engagements.

In addition to extensive CEO experience, Goldenburg also has more than a decade of fundraising experience.  He has successfully solicited six figure gifts, developed successful donated-assets programs, increased annual campaign revenue, and written millions of dollars in funded grant proposals. Goldenburg also has significant experience as a nonprofit board member, including as a successful board co-chair for a national nonprofit. 


Goldenburg has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Senate, received the Visionary of the Year Award by Visions Today Magazine, and identified as one of the 101 Most Connected Philadelphians by Leadership Philadelphia.  He holds a masters of public administration from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelors degree in social work from Georgia State University.

Leanne Rubenstein has over 20 years experience creating healthier, vibrant, and welcoming communities for all. She has served as a program manager, development director, associate director, and executive director in a number of fields including workforce development, refugee services, mental health services, and community organizing. Rubenstein’s specialty with The Goldenburg Group includes stakeholder interviews, retreat facilitation, and evaluation.

Holding a degree in Special Education from the University of Georgia and Master’s level training in counseling at Georgia State University, Rubenstein is also trained in Alternatives to Violence and community building. She has a commitment to advancing social justice on interpersonal, institutional and societal levels and uplifts the voices and experiences of marginalized communities.

Rubenstein’s approach is further informed by extensive board leadership experience. She currently chairs the board of SOJOURN (Southern Jewish Resource Network for Gender and Sexual Diversity) and serves on the board of Sagal Radio, broadcasting in six languages as Atlanta’s voice of new Americans.

Eric Ashton has a background in problem solving and conflict resolution as well as a strong emphasis on communication skills.  Ashton brings a commitment to inclusion and diversity in the leadership of nonprofit organizations, as both a senior-level staff member and a board member.  Ashton's work with The Goldenburg Group focuses on communications and special projects.

Eric has a Masters of Public Health from the Yale University, a masters degree in environmental science from Tufts University and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  He is most proud of graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.  

Currently residing in Philadelphia, Ashton also brings over two decades of professional experience in the nonprofit, federal government, and higher education sectors.

Brianna N. Ohonba is a senior at Georgia State University and majoring in Political Science. As a paid intern with The Goldenburg Group, Ohonba is responsible for editing the podcast, managing the email newsletter, and facilitating other special projects.

Ohonba has previous experience as a legal, political, and business intern as well as experience as a volunteer and legal advocate for various nonprofits. Upon Graduation, Brianna plans to attend law school.
